ScamStomper exists to help people who are common scam targets — and a lot of that audience is older adults, people with vision or motor difficulties, and folks who aren’t comfortable with fussy technology. Accessibility isn’t an afterthought here; it’s core to why this site exists.

What We’re Doing

• Using clear, high-contrast colors and readable font sizes throughout the site
• Writing in plain language, avoiding unnecessary jargon
• Structuring pages with proper headings so screen readers can navigate them logically
• Keeping forms simple, with clear labels on every field

Our Goal

We’re working toward meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, the widely recognized benchmark for web accessibility. This is an ongoing effort rather than a finished checklist — as the site grows, we’ll keep testing and improving.
